This is the thread graveyard, where all threads will go to rest in peace after they die. Completed threads are merely locked and kept in their original boards so members can find them and read them over, but inactive threads will be moved here, as will unfinished applications.

Ah, the infamous front desk. Once you go through the intimidating steel door beyond it, you can near guarantee you won't be coming out of it... alive. It's guarded on both sides, so everyone goes in, and no one comes out. This is where character applications will be posted!

Once you enter, your file is added to the growing pile in the room behind the front lobby. And until you die, it won't be removed, so you can guarantee it's there. The files are separated by the severity of the patient.

When you take a look into the mirror, what do you see? Claims and things are posted here, such as the face claims, keep in mind to only start claiming things once you've been accepted, so you don't cause us extra trouble.

In this asylum, you're stuck with the other patients. Granted, they do their best to keep the dangerous patients away from the small nutcases to prevent further hysteria, but everyone's bound to run into each other eventually. Relationship plotting goes on here.

If your character has a friend, sibling or family member who's also taken the mickey, and you want to bring them into the RP, but not have to RP with yourself, post a request on this board. Only take a request if you plan to be active.

These patients are dangerous, these patients are unpredictable. So they often need to be shut away from the other patients, and even each other. They sedate the patients when they're in this room, and give them a therapeutic session every day... not that it helps.

These patients don't have gender separate bathrooms, and the place is hardly well-kept. The light flickers and is dull anyways, and it has one of those horror movie bathroom feels. Then again, when there's someone inside, it could easily turn to a nightmare.

Some kids have went so far off the sanity map that we're not even sure what's wrong with them anymore. So sometimes they'll be kept in this room, which has machines monitoring things like heart rate and brain activity. Most hate it, others... well, it's hard to tell.

Well, they won't be deserted once you're in them, they just usually are. An eerie silence usually envelops it, and occasionally you can hear screams and cackling from the patient's rooms. Just hope they don't decide it's a nice time for a walk.

Most patients have to share a room, but it would be suicide to keep these freaks of nature locked up all night together. Every patient gets their own room, and the rooms tend to reflect the personality of the patient. Don't knock on the door with the blood seeping from underneath.

These are the shock therapy chambers. Yeah, it's illegal in most parts of the world, this one included, but no inspector is brave enough to stick around down here to find out what goes on inside the rooms. This place is a patients worst nightmare, unless they really like the feeling of being electrocuted.

These rooms are much more enforced than those on the upper levels. A thick, see-through wall with only a slight space for voices to carry through separates doctor from patient, and sometimes patients can be strapped to the chair if they're being too violent.

Being the most docile, harmless patients, these little buggers that talk to themselves can come here and talk to each other instead. Security is moderate, seeing as there isn't much likeliness for danger between these kids.

Well, it's said the the girls are more delicate than boys, so the first two patient level females share this bathroom, on the floor with the most gentle, harmless patients. It's clean and well-kept, because the girls wouldn't have it any other way.

There can be two-three patients to a room, and you'll get your own room if you start to show certain social timid qualities when forced to sleep with others, don't worry. These rooms are all identical -- the inspectors need to be led to think that the patients will be cured some day.

These hallways are always occupied by at least two or three people, even at night by the little insomniacs who claim the voices keep them awake by speaking in the ear. Just step lightly so they don't think they hear demons from the other side, okay?

They need someone to tell the stories the voices tell them, right? Someone who will listen, and not try to deny their words. Granted, the doctors are paid greatly to do this, but the patients don't have to know, they think you're a good friend.

Because we all know that it's practically just a fancy word for another one of the many mazes of hallways in the place. You'll do to be a bit more careful up here, but it's still safer than the basement, at least.

Well, you'll need to enter the slightly deeper waters to brave the boy's bathroom, but as long as you don't walk in on one of the slightly psychotic kids, it's not really that dangerous. It's slightly more... unkempt than the girls -- they're dudes, after all.

Well, the therapists in charge of this level have to take a little bit more than just imaginary friends, they actually have to keep their distance if they press the patients buttons.

Not nearly as bad as solitary confinement, new, formerly drug-addicted patients go through their withdrawals here, and the slightly angrier patients are locked in here for an hour to vent if they're being violent. It's got the whole effect of padded walls and floors, too.

These patients usually just share a room with one other person, and if they have some sort of disorder that might make them a bit dangerous, but not enough for level three, they'll get their own room.

Because while our characters run around being mental and talking to themselves, we'd prefer to talk to other people! Uh, unless you happen to share a bit of similarity to your character.... haha?
